The AZ series enables absolute positioning and consists of a stepper motor with driver. No additional sensors are required, so total costs are low. The closed loop drive convinces with a high efficiency, is energy-saving and also suitable for continuous operation thanks to its low heat generation. Four different drivers are available, depending on the master control system: With integrated controller, with pulse-input and RS-485 interface, with pulse- input, for PROFINET, for EtherCAT, for EtherNet/IP and a network-compliant multi-axis driver. With the MEXE02 data setting software, the system configuration can be set and a large number of multiple operating and parameter settings can be edited. Further advantages of the software are test and monitor functions.

The AZ Series power supply voltage is single-phase 200-240 VAC or 24/48 VDC. The motors are also used within other Oriental Motor drives like rotary actuators or linear slides.
