Description

The pneumatic valve island Type 8647 AirLINE SP is a modular, electropneumatic automation system consisting of connection and valve modules. It has been especially developed for safe and complete integration into the decentralised peripheral system “SIMATIC ET 200SP” and "SIMATIC ET 200SP HA" from Siemens. Pneumatically operated process valves, pneumatic cylinders or other pneumatic components can be connected to the pneumatic outputs. If the pneumatic components are installed with position feedbacks, the position of the actuated pneumatic components can be displayed on the associated pilot valve. This can save time on start-up and maintenance.

Type 8098 - FLOWave SAW flowmeter

The Type 8098 flowmeter is part of the FLOWave product range. It is based on SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology and is mainly designed for applications with the highest hygienic demands. This is achieved by using: suitable stainless steel materials, a measuring tube free of any wetted parts except for the actual tube, the ideal outer hygienic design. FLOWave offers a range of integrated functions, including the advantages of flexibility, ease of cleaning, compact dimensions, lightweight, easy installation and handling, and is compliant with numerous standards. Optimal measurement results can be achieved with homogeneous liquids, free of air and solid particles. For liquids with high viscosity, an integrated viscosity compensation can be activated. Gas and steam cannot be measured; however, their flow does not have any negative effect on the device or its operation and other liquids flowing through afterwards are measured correctly as before. Beside volume flow, a density measurement optional feature is available. With this option, the mass flow is calculated based on volume flow and density measurements. Special functions derived from further process values (differentiation factor (DF), acoustic transmission factor, concentration) offer additional information about the particular liquid in use (for details, see data sheet).

Type ME63 - Industrial Ethernet gateway, IP65/ IP67/ IP69k

The Industrial Ethernet gateway Type ME63 is the central control unit for Bürkert products (valves, sensors, process control systems), which is based on EDIP (Efficient Device Integration Platform) and used in processes requiring a high degree of protection. Type ME63 consists of a fieldbus gateway which transmits the internal CANopen-based communication of the Bürkert field devices to all common industry standards for Industrial Ethernet. With the help of eight M12 ports, CANopen-based Bürkert field devices can be connected directly to the gateway Type ME63. The power supply of the field devices can be provided either by an M12 L-Power (up to 32A) or an A-coded M12 connector (up to 4A). One of these additional participants can be either Type ME64 (I/O module) or a passive junction box (included as an accessory part with this data sheet). The passive junction box is intended to simply integrate further participants into the proprietary bus system of the gateway Type ME63. The power supply via the M12 L-Power input can supply further field devices located close to the process via the second M12 L-Power output. Also integrated is an Ethernet switch which allows the direct integration of further field devices located close to the process in the Ethernet communication.
