Are press conferences on site possible?
You have the opportunity to hold your press conference or media briefing near the SPS press center (NCC Ost) in one of the designated conference rooms. Each exhibitor is allocated a 30-minute time slot. A 15-minute break is scheduled before and after each press conference.
- Our press rooms are typically equipped with:
- Lectern including microphone
- Head tables including microphones
- Projector (without laptop)
- Parliamentary seating arrangement
Alternatively, you may hold your company’s press conference directly at your booth. In this case, please send us the date, time, hall, and booth number in advance.
In both cases, we will publish your press event at the entrance of the press center and online in the press section – for the information of trade journalists (publication approx. two months before the event starts).
Please note:
- Due to high demand, parallel time slots may occur. Please register early – the registration deadline is three weeks before the event begins. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time but reserve the right to make changes.
- We only publish your press event. The full organization and execution of the press conference remain your responsibility.

Questions about booth construction, technology & logistics
Which technical guidelines and regulations apply to stand construction?
All regulations regarding safety, materials, fire protection and more can be found in the stand construction guidelines.
Tip: Design your booth with a modular concept and avoid dated elements such as year-specific graphics and large-format vinyl prints wherever possible. This allows materials to be reused across multiple events and helps reduce waste.
Is stand construction approval required?
Assuming that the Technical Guidelines are complied with in the design and construction of the stand, it is not necessary to submit planning documents for single-story stand structures in the halls, provided they have a floor area of no more than 400 sqm.
Special constructions are subject to approval and costs. Special constructions include:
- Two-storey stand construction (see item 7 of the stand construction guidelines)
- Constructions in the outdoor area
- Special constructions (show trucks, promotion vehicles, etc.)
- Cinema and auditorium areas < 100 sqm
- Scene areas
- Platforms and walk-on structures higher than 0.20 m
- LED walls/video walls incl. substructure or mounting materials
- Glass constructions
- Moving components
Approval of booth constructions requiring approval is carried out digitally via the Booth+ Check tool. There, you will receive a tailored overview of all relevant guidelines for your booth construction. Further information can be found in the exhibition preparation FAQs on this page under “How do I get stand approval?”.
What construction heights are permitted in the individual halls?
The maximum permitted construction height for single-story stand construction is 6 m. Due to structural restrictions, this height cannot be realized in all halls. The maximum construction heights of the individual halls are listed in the following table.
| Hall | Maximum overall height (top edge of rigging) |
|---|---|
| 1 | 6 m (left side) |
| 1 | 5.8 m (right side) |
| 2 – 9 | 5.8 m |
| 3A, 3C, 4A, 7A, 11.0 | 6 m |
| 10.0 | 5.3 m |
| 11.1 | 3.6 m |
For more information on the stand construction guidelines, please refer to the stand construction guidelines.
What is required for a two-story stand construction?
For more information, please contact your personal hall contact.
What are the assembly and dismantling times?
The applicable setup and dismantling times are clearly outlined on the “Event dates & opening hours” page.
Is advance setup possible?
Yes, advanced setup is possible. Further details can be found on the “Event dates & opening hours” page.
Does my team require access authorization for setup and dismantling?
Please note that all persons present on the Nuremberg exhibition grounds during assembly and dismantling must have a valid setup and dismantling pass issued and available for inspection. This pass can be generated via the corresponding link.
How are access and parking in the loading yards regulated during the event and setup and dismantling days?
For optimized and time-accurate planning of the arrival and departure of your material and to minimize waiting times, register your vehicles and their arrival time via the digital retrieval system “TransITfair”. It is not possible to enter the exhibition grounds without prior registration of a paid time slot in the “TransITfair” system. Timeslots can be booked from 18 September 2026.
Please take note of the shipping guidelines provided by the trade fair transport partners KUEHNE+NAGEL and DSV Fairs & Events GmbH.
How do I dispose of recyclable materials correctly?
Please avoid waste wherever possible and separate recyclable materials to ensure they can be properly recycled.
During the event: Waste disposal during the event is included in the waste disposal fee. Please place your trash bag at the edge of your stand at the end of each day. A new trash bag will be provided daily.
Setup and dismantling: You and/or your stand builder are responsible for disposing of any waste generated at your booth during setup and dismantling. Please use the waste containers provided in the exhibition halls.
Disposing of booth elements and entire stands: A fee-based disposal service can be ordered through NürnbergMesse.
Storage and reuse: Whenever possible, store booth modules, graphics and other materials for future events, or explore alternative ways to reuse them.
Further information can be found here.
How can I conserve resources and reduce waste when using carpets and flooring?
In the exhibition halls, we do not use carpet flooring in the aisles. Rental turnkey booths booked through NürnbergMesse are equipped as standard with recyclable ECO-Rips carpet, which is recycled after use and returned to the materials cycle.
Tip: When planning your stand, focus on reuse to create added value and take advantage of the recycling options offered by NürnbergMesse.
How can I make my stand as accessible as possible for all visitor groups?
Design your booth so that it is easy to access and use for as many people as possible. Everyone benefits from an accessible stand: information is easier to understand, products are easier to reach and potential trip hazards can be minimized.
Our tips will help you create a welcoming and accessible booth experience.
For further guidance, please refer to the SPS sustainability guide.
Where can I book services such as electricity, water or furniture for my exhibition stand?
Via the “ExhibitorShop of the NürnbergMesse”, you can order services such as stand construction, technical connections, booth equipment, catering, personnel, logistics, and much more.
Further details can be found in the checklist.
What are the deadlines for ordering technology and services?
Please submit your orders in good time to meet deadlines and avoid express surcharges.
Information on potential additional costs for late orders can be found here or in the “ExhibitorShop of the NürnbergMesse” under “Express surcharges/deadlines.”
How is parking regulated during setup, dismantling, and the event period?
All information regarding parking will be available from September 2026 in the logistics guide included in your exhibitor checklist.

Your personal hall contact is your first point of contact and will be happy to assist you with all technical matters.
