Die Positionsanzeige AP05 führt den Benutzer intuitiv zur korrekten Maschineneinstellung bei Produktwechseln oder Formatänderungen. Das optimierte hinterleuchtete Display zeigt Sollwerte und Istwerte punktgenau an. Zwei LEDs weisen dem Maschinenbediener eindeutig die Richtung, in die verstellt werden muss. Maschinenfehleinstellungen sind mit der Positionsanzeige AP05 somit zukünftig vermeidbar, wodurch flexible Produktionsmaschinen lückenlos prozesssicher werden.

Dynamically compensated safety inclinometer

Certified according to SIL2 and PLd, the inclinometer IMS365R provides reliable and safe inclination values even in safety-critical applications. The sensor is ideally suited for dynamic applications thanks to the integrated acceleration sensor and gyroscope, . Thanks to the innovative sensor-fusion algorithm, external accelerations such as vibrations and shocks are compensated and consequently reliable inclination values are provided. In addition to the 360° inclination measurement in all three spatial axes, the Euler angle, such as pitch & roll, is measured. Its high degree of protection, robust housing and E1 approval (UN ECE R10) make it ideally suited for use in commercial vehicles.

PURE.MOBILE: The platform behind the NEO series

The name NEO stands for “New Electronic Options”. The new sensor series is based on the latest version of the PURE.MOBILE sensor platform developed by SIKO. Like all sensors from SIKO for this industry, this sensor platform has been developed with 100% focus on use in mobile machines. That brings certain advantages: the new sensor system works with contactless magnetic measuring technology and is therefore completely wear-free. Moreover, the mechatronic multiturn system used does not need a battery or any other energy-generating system, and is therefore not only safe, but also maintenance-free for years – even at the lowest temperatures.

Robust mechanics meets smart sensor technology: NEO for challenging tasks up to 15 m

The new NEO series will be available as the SG31NEO with a measurement length of up to 3.2 m, the SG61NEO for up to 6 m, the SG121NEO for up to 12 m, and the SG150NEO for up to 15 m. The sensors are based on the proven draw-wire mechanics of SIKO. The draw-wire mechanics known for years for their especially high operational performance in mobile machines have important features and functions to allow them to adapt to tough conditions of many different sorts. In addition to a wide choice of wires, the sensors have options for avoiding ice formation, many wire fixing variants, and proven sealing and temperature architecture, which is necessary for them to work reliably at -40°C and in permanent wet conditions for many years.

For safety-critical applications: CANopen Safety

To make installation as easy as possible for customers in the mobile machine sector, the sensor connection, which comes as an M12 plug or cable outlet, can be ordered radially or axiallyIn addition to a CANopen safety interface for safety-critical applications up to performance level d (PLd), a CANopen interface will also be available for uncomplicated integration into the control system. In future, the sensors will be extended to include an SAE-J1939 interface and its safety-enhanced derivative, the SAE-J1939 Safety. The new NEO series is therefore making the proven and well-known draw-wire encoders from SIKO even more efficient, flexible and compact.

High-resolution absolute, numerous interfaces, high mounting capability thanks to rotatable connectors

The absolute encoder MSA213K convinces with its high absolute resolution of 1 µm for precise position detection and a high reading distance of up to 0.8 mm at the same time. With the absolutely coded magnetic tape MBA213, measurements over a length of up to 16 meters are possible. Different absolute interfaces are available for integration into the control environment, which can be supplemented by incremental or analog signal outputs for rapid regulation. The rotatable M12 plug enables easy integration into the application on the customer side. The MSA213K is compatible with the MSA111C and can be used as an alternative with a higher reading distance and a longer travel distance.
