Description

Our worm gears and helical worm gears / motors are high-performance gears with a very high degree of efficiency. All worm shafts are made from case hardened alloy steel and the flanks are precision ground. The worm wheels are made from centrifugally cast bronze. Helical worm gears are equipped with a helical gear. Worm gears with shrink disc, torque limiter, as well as adjustable backlash designs are also part of our standard product range.

Our worm gearboxes and helical worm gearboxes type S and SS are high-Performance gearboxes in universal design. The housings are made from high quality cast iron. The rugget walls and inner ribbing ensure extremely torsional stiff and noise dampening housings. The external ripping provides a rapid heat dissipation.

Bevel helical gearbox

Our bevel helical gearbox is designed as a compact drive unit for highly dynamic applications. The requirements for operation with servo motors have been implemented accordingly. During development, attention was also paid to high operational reliability through amply dimensioned bearing points and gearing design. Furthermore, the housing with an integrated square flange on the output side offers maximum rigidity and can be installed or attached universally thanks to the symmetrical inline housing. The drive is available with a solid or hollow shaft (possibly with an optional clamping set).

The output shafts can also be made of stainless steel. A stainless steel housing (stainless steel gear, hygienic drive, wash-down application) is available for particularly high demands on the surface quality.

Requirements placed on new transmission concepts were taken into account. Minimum torsional backlash, high rigidity, low overall weight, high efficiency, maximum flexibility in connection with a universal installation position are features that enable the drive to be used successfully.
