KESSLER drives can be used in maritime applications as hybrid or all-electric solutions. Thanks to permanently excited synchronous motors, this significantly reduces not only noise but also vibrations, making shipping more comfortable.

Decades of experience

Precisely developed drives for milling spindles and multi-axis heads for CNC machining are just as much a part of our product range as motor spindles equipped with saw blades.

And when very thick boards are required, KESSLER drives are used in sawmills for log sorting and the alignment of tree trunks. Or as travel drives for gantry cranes. The basis for this is our decades of experience in the construction of motor spindles and multi-axis heads for the machine tool industry.

Variable and precision

Compared to hydraulic or mechanical presses, our electric drives offer several advantages. Among the most important plus points are the controllable press force and the universal practicability for precision machining.

KESSLER drives are also used in forming technology primarily because of their high continuous and peak torques. And this in eccentric presses as well as in screw presses. Here, drives with diameters of up to 3 meters and outputs of up to 850 kW are individually adapted.

Equipped with powerful KESSLER direct drives, processes in servo presses can be optimized in several respects: in terms of cycle time, tool wear and energy consumption.

Driven by KESSLER torque motors, servo presses can be used more flexibly and achieve higher productivity and quality compared to conventionally driven presses. In addition, our drives offer a very high tolerance to shocks and vibrations.
