The Eckelmann E°SLC89 safety PLC provides OEMs with a SIL3 and PL e certified, fully integrable safety master for your machine concept. Codesys Safety development system ensures an easy realisation of ambitious safety requirements, fully integrated in your PLC project. Using FSoE protocol ensures a swift and safe communication to sensor and drive level making the E°SLC89 to the centre of you machine’s entire safety concept.

Safe I/O modules
Compact, flexible, and modular.

Safe UBM I/O modules provide digital interface for the modular E°SLC89 PLC, scalable according to your needs. Freedom of design is guaranteed through use of UBM bus couplers allowing a realisation of both centralised and decentralised safety circuits.

Safe I/O supply modules
Simple but effective.

Even without a dedicated safety PLC and a complex logic, implementation of basic safety concepts can be realised using the safe I/O supply modules of the UBM series. The straightforward functionality requires no programming efforts and guarantees a ready to use application.

Functional safety in the E°Darc Ci servo drive

Eckelmann safety drive technology assures protection of operators and minimizes hazards of mechanical components. The E°Darc Ci series are certified according to IEC 62061 complying with safety integrity level 3 (SIL3) in order to guarantee safety functionality in high-end applications.

Customised safety functions

The modular E°Darc Ci servo system enables an easy integration of additional hardware expanding safety functionality according to individual requirements such as, a standstill monitor for high-speed spindle applications with speeds of up to 40,000 rpm.

Reducing space requirements to the bare minimum: components are integrated into the drive system in order to ensure a maximum of efficiency. Cost optimisation through dispensing with unnecessary standard components and housings.
