The new MatrixTM 320 imager has been developed to empower traceability applications. Thanks to its impressive Field of View (FoV) the imager captures multiple labels or codes with a single reader. Built on a Multicore platform, the sensor delivers an unrivalled reading speed for the most challenging applications, reading damaged labels or codes, as well as direct marked parts (DPM). A wide range of lenses, illumination options, filters and accessories cover every application scenario.

The compact Arex400 fibre laser marks components permanently and reliably (Direct Part Marking, DPM). This ensures that the correct information is present and legible - even on components that are subjected to high stress and wear or undergo aggressive post-processing or finishing.

The 9600 series is now available in a full suite of industrial DPX models for DPM and label-based codes, mainly targeting traceability applications in Automotive, Aerospace, Tires and Electronics and also used in Healthcare for tracking medical devices in hospitals. It includes a corded desk models (PD9600 DPX), cordless models featuring Datalogic’s STAR 433 MHz Cordless System™ 2.0 proprietary radio (PM9600-D DPX) with full keypad/display options, and a cordless Bluetooth® 5.0 model (PBT9600 DPX).

The PowerScan 9600 DPX models also inherit the plug-and-play architecture of the PowerScan 9600 family making it easily configurable between Serial, USB, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET while protecting customer’s investment in case of future changes to the communication setup.

The new Smart-VS EVO anomaly detection algorithm can effortlessly solve several applications in many sectors, simplifying quality control, defect detection and presence/absence verification.
