This has several advantages for you. You save costs because you only need one device instead of several modules - and this of course also simplifies project planning and programming considerably. In addition, compared to modular product solutions, the general expenditure, for example for logistics or assembly and testing activities, is significantly lower. At the same time, the approach with a compact PLC as the central heart and brain ensures higher functional reliability through faster data communication.

Therefore, three basic designs are absolutely sufficient to cover all market requirements. Important to know: All you have to do to exchange the devices is change the SD card - it couldn't be easier. In addition, our compact PLCs can be easily combined with other control components, such as our standardized Berghof MC or ET system.

With the „CANtrol“ DC series, Berghof once introduced the combination of controllers and HMI terminals into the automation market.

The design of the „B-PRIMIS“ DC series display controller was based not only on this experience, but also on the knowledge gained from the realization of numerous projects with consistent suggestions and helpful customer requests in order to implement the respective application extraordinarily well.

It all depends on the small details – „B-PRIMIS“ DC contains many features in the standard that are unparalleled in the performance class, and it is constantly becoming more and more. The device series combines the products of the „B-PRIMIS“ ET/ control panel and „B-FORTIS“ CC-Slim/ compact control series and automatically benefits from all the extensions we work on every day. All functions and features, including the extensive basic equipment of the two excellent product series, are combined in the current HMI controller: extremely powerful and proven high-quality fail-safe components, extensive on-board peripherals, countless technological functions or clean fronts.

With the „Pro“ version, resistive touch panels are available, equipped with a high-quality frame. The „Prime“ version consists of frameless capacitive displays.
