Description

SinceVision Through-Beam Edge Sensor is a high-performance, non-contact sensor designed for precise edge detection and positioning tasks in various industrial applications. It offers a high sampling frequency of up to 4 kHz and a fast response time of 250 microseconds, which ensures quick and accurate measurements essential for dynamic production environments.

The sensor supports robust communication modes, including EtherCAT, voltage analog, and current analog, providing flexibility in integration with automation systems. It also boasts strong anti-interference capabilities verified by EMC certification and shielded cables, ensuring stable operation even in challenging industrial conditions.

Key features include excellent detection accuracy with a repetition accuracy of 2 microns and linear accuracy of ±0.4% full scale. It is commonly used for applications like web edge control, sheet metal detection, and quality control across industries such as lithium battery manufacturing, where it excels at electrode reel correction and pole piece damage detection with very low false detection rates.

The sensor system is compact and durable, with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and an aluminum alloy housing.
