In the research project “Intelligent Manufacturing Assistant Bot (IMAB)”, Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Grossenbacher GmbH and SABO Mobile IT GmbH are developing a middleware platform for voice assistants for human-technology interaction in industrial plants.

The goal is to offer machine manufacturers a universal, hands-free and intuitive interface that combines voice control and user interfaces, thus enabling short training periods, increased flexibility and efficient machine control – even in noisy environments and through AI-supported speaker recognition for authorized persons.
