PLCopen Logic
Description
The PLCopen basis is provided by the world wide standard IEC 61131, and especially Part 3 - Programming Languages which is providing the Logic, as developed by the International Electrotechnical Committee. IEC 61131-3 specifies the syntax and semantics of a unified suite of programming languages for programmable controllers (PCs). This suite consists of two textual languages, Instruction List (IL) and Structured Text (ST), and two graphical languages, Ladder Diagram (LD) and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
One aspect of PLCopen's work is the certification of programming systems that are IEC 61131-3 compliant (Logic).
