Events, Seminars, Workshops:
Learn everything that is needed to use Open Source software in industry in a license compliant way and with best achievable technical properties
As a community organization, OSADL offers a wide range of seminars and workshops on the topics that arise when companies use Open Source software in industrial products. On the one hand, these are regularly held events, on the other hand, OSADL also offers individual training events for companies online or in-house.
- Compact OSADL Online Lectures (COOL). COOL is monthly webinar and covers new and current legal and technical topics of Open Source software in industry.
- OSADL Networking Day. The Networking Day is an annual conference on topics from the Open Source universe.
- Workshops and seminars on current topics such as license compliance when using Open Source software in industry, IT for lawyers, software scanning with FOSSology, CRA compliance for embedded systems, security challenges of embedded systems, safety certification of Open Source software, etc.
- Individual so-called "OSADL Days". Companies who would like to learn what OSADL is all about and how OSADL can help solve Open Source related challenges may request an information event either in-house or via video conference. Such events are also offered to existing OSADL members who would like to get an update on recent developments of Open Source topics.
- Heidelberg OSADL Talks (HOT). HOT is an online training course where participants get an overview on the basic legal (Legal HOT) and technical (Technical HOT) aspects of using Open Source software in industry and will learn how OSADL can provide support. The HOT material consists of a collection of videos that are provided through the OSADL website. Non-members may request individual access.
