PTC (Typ YAM1, YAM2, EF)
Description
Temperatursensoren der Typenreihe YAM / EF1 sind Kaltleiter bzw. Motor-PTC, die durch einen sprunghaften Anstieg des Widerstands bei def. Ansprechtemperatur charakterisiert sind.
Das Spezialgebiet dieser Sensoren liegt im Bereich der Schwerlastmotoren (3phasig, 1phasig), bei denen keine direkte Abschaltung infolge des hohen Stromes möglich ist. Die Motor-PTC werden dabei als Fühler eingesetzt und geben ähnlich einem Temperaturschalter ab einer bestimmten Ansprechtemperatur einen sehr hohen Widerstandspegel weiter. Damit kann mittels einer Auswerteeinheit z.B. ein Schütz geschaltet werden.
