Integration made easy
Highly compact and highly integrated: The IHD system comprises a backlash-free gearbox, a sophisticated servo motor, a dual motor feedback system for position measurement and a powerful motion controller in a ready-to-use drive solution. Easy integration into your application is supported not only by the drive's central hollow shaft, which is predestined to carry a wide variety of media, but also by our specially developed, user-friendly software solution for simple commissioning – plug and play.

Compatible and predictive
Thanks to thermal optimization of its design, the IHD meets all requirements for high-performance applications in the field of stationary and mobile drive technology. Advanced simulation tools for thermal evaluation of the system have been developed for this purpose. The IHD system has an application processor for future smart applications such as condition monitoring and can be used as a separate platform for customer-specific application programming. The system operates with DC voltages of 24V or 48V. Communication with the machine controller is possible via CANopen, Ethernet and EtherCAT.

High dynamics in a compact assembly

The BHK Series Frameless motors are characterised by a high overload capacity combined with low weight and low moment of inertia.

This means that the BHK Series offers maximum dynamics for fast positioning tasks - with the additional option of realising a large hollow shaft.

Flexibility in machine design

The BHK Series Frameless motors consist of a moulded stator and a ring magnet. This allows the frameless motors to be used to customise the complete drive solution. The motor or machine manufacturer can integrate the frameless motors according to their specific requirements, realise their own bearings and design an encoder system according to their wishes. The short overall length of the frameless motors enables a compact drive design. The large hollow shaft in the ring magnet can also be used for a hollow shaft of the complete drive solution so that, for example, supply lines, compressed air hoses or similar can be routed through the rotary axes of the machine.

Thanks to a high number of pole pairs and a high copper fill factor, the BHK Series Frameless motors achieve a high torque density and are therefore ideal for dynamic positioning applications with the necessary overload reserves.

Due to their design principle, the BHK Frameless motors have low cogging, which in turn results in very good synchronisation characteristics with low speed ripple.

The integrated linear PT1000 temperature sensor can be used not only for safety shutdown in the event of overtemperature, but also for analysing the operating temperature, thus providing a basis for condition monitoring.

Economical design

The economical design and optimised manufacturing technology offer a cost effective and precise drive system with high overload capacity - especially for large quantities.
