ELTRA mains starter devices are characterized by their robust design for high currents during the start-up process of combustion engines. They produce a battery-like output direct voltage (24VDC) with low residual ripple. Our mains starter devices are also protected by thermal switches to ensure safe operation.

If an ELTRA mains starter device is used instead of a starter battery, a combined heat and power plant, for example, can be started in a more environmentally friendly way, with less maintenance and with better starting behavior, as a higher starting speed is achieved. This enables a safe engine start, especially in colder ambient conditions.

We manufacture our mains starter devices for engine power from 3.5 kW to 30 kW. As standard, the mains starter devices are designed with 3x360V-400V-440V on the primary side. You can choose between protection classes IP 00 and IP 54.

We design and implement complete solutions for transformer cabinets, including ventilation and fuses, e.g. for use in projects in the industrial furnace sector. We offer suitable series transformers that can be adapted to country-specific voltage levels. This ensures that your system and the power supply harmonise perfectly. We manufacture suitable chokes and filters designed to reduce interference caused by the drive system. There are (almost) no limits to your wishes.
