Danotherm RB resistors are heatsink-cooled power resistors in extruded aluminum housings that provide superior heat conduction. RB resistors are used in industrial drives systems and electronic inverters as charging, de-charging and brake resistor. The power ranges from 12 to 250W. Maximum working voltage is up to 2300V (depending on size and type). When operating at maximum values, RB resistors require a heatsink.

Danotherm CBH/CBV/CBR resistors are UL-approved, passive air-cooled power resistors in compact aluminum housings. They are mostly used in small inverter drives systems as brake, charge, de-charge, filter, and snubber resistors. CBH/CBV/CBR resistors are; compact, fully insulated, UL-approved, low thermal drift, low noise level, and high vibration withstand. The nominal power ranges from 85 – 1700W. Protection class IP50 – IP 65. CBH/CBV/CBR resistors can take high power pulse loads up to 25 times their nominal power for 5 seconds, depending on the ohm value and size. Working voltage standard up to 690VAC/975VDC, optional till 1000VAC/1400VDC. Optional, they can be fitted with a thermal switch for temperature monitoring. Customization for OEM versions is very well possible.

Danotherm CBW resistors are liquid-cooled resistors that support high pulse loads, and high vibration withstands capability. They are used in industrial drive systems, traction, and electric vehicles as brake and filter resistors. CBW resistors have a fully insulated aluminum housing with liquid cooling channels. Nominal power ranges from 1200 to 8500W. Different lengths ranging from 180 to 960mm are available. Protection class IP50 – IP 65. CBW resistors can take high power pulse loads up to 60 times their nominal power for 5 seconds, depending on the ohm value and size of the CBW. The maximum working voltage is 1000VAC/1400VDC.

PR resistors are power thick film resistors with a compact design. They have negligible inductance and large creepage dimensions, which makes them very suitable in industrial drive systems and electronic inverters for filter and snubber applications. PR resistors are available in three mechanical sizes in various configurations (with multiple resistors in one housing) and optional HV terminals. The power ranges from 100 to 800W. Maximum voltage up to 5kV. The standard tolerance is ±10%. Resistors with ±1% tolerance are available on request.
