Description

BayMotion® feedIN DC 1800 V DC are halogen-free, flexible, UV- and weather-resistant direct current connection and interconnecting cables with a highly temperature-resistant core insulation for use in plant construction and enclosure manufacturing, e.g. for power supply of electrified public transport systems or charging infrastructur for both electric buses and individual traffic.

The cable is oil-resistant and guarantees long durablility in challenging surroundings e.g. for the connection of transformers.

Due to its flexible design combined with UV-resistance and the capability for direct burial, various laying conditions can be implemented with just one cable and without additional transition sleeves or distribution cabinets.

  • laying in buildings with high fire-protection requirements
  • universally applicable, for fixed installation in dry and damp rooms, outdoors and directly in the ground
  • easy assembly through highly flexible wire
  • temperature-resistant conductor insulation for increased current carrying capacity


All variants are available in fire classes B2ca and Eca.

BayCom® nonfire B2ca Metro OFC are metal- and halogen-free as well as flame-retardant fiber-optic cables (FOCs) for telecommunication and date transmission, for the application in areas with high requirements regarding fire protection.
The very good fire characteristics together with UV and weather resistance, a possible installation directly in the earth as well as the simple oil resistance make an almost universal application area possible. Integrated slitting cords facilitate the installation.

BayCom® nonfire B2ca Metro OFC are suitable for:

  • Installation in buildings with high fire protection requirements (e.g. tunnels, escape routes)
  • Protection of human lives and high-quality equipment
  • Permanent installation in dry and humid surroundings
  • Outdoor installation thanks to Bayka Soil technology, tested for UV and ozone resistance
  • Installation directly in the earth thanks to Bayka Soil technology, EN ISO tested
