Die Steckverbinder der Serie heavy|mate® - C146, auch Schwere Rechtecksteckverbinder genannt, umfassen modulare Steckverbindersysteme bestehend aus Gehäuse, Kontakteinsätzen und Kontakten. Sie sind für Anwendungen in rauer Industrieumgebung entwickelt.
Durch gestanzte Crimpkontakte ist eine besonders wirtschaftliche Verarbeitung bei automatisch gleich bleibend hoher Anschlussqualität möglich.
