Slot resistance thermometers

The different cable resistance thermometers consist of a basic sensor with securely connected cable. As well as the standard Pt100 measuring resistors (M-OK), thermistors (PTC or NTC) or silicon sensors (KTY) can also be used. Fitted with heat shrink tube, metal or ceramic sleeve, these temperature sensors are the commonly used solutions to cope with many different temperature measurement tasks. The sensors are mainly used for thermal control of the winding of electrical machines. They are also suitable for measuring temperature in laboratory and pilot plants, in gaseous, liquid or solid media and are used in hazardous areas.

KTY, as well as PTC and NTC thermistors, are well suited as temperature sensors for many applications in the automation technology, in electronic components or in assemblies, in medical technology or in electrical machinery and equipment. Thanks to their compact size, they are ideally suited for installation in narrow copper windings of low voltage motors.

Motor protection thermistors are particularly suitable for monitoring certain threshold temperatures. A reliable protection against overheating can be realized using these types of thermistors together with an evaluation unit.

Electric band heaters are designed for use in electric motors to avoid condensation and frost damages in a cold environment when the motor is not running. They are available with different power stages, heating band lengths and supply voltages.

Screw-in thermometers include a wide variety of thermometer designs in different housings. The spectrum ranges from simple screw-in housings with connection wire, over fixed screw- or moveable clamping screw connections up to various connection heads with protective sheath and different process fittings.
