AUMA SEVEN
Description
Variable speed for actuators has many advantages: Positioning accuracy increases, actuator and valve are more smoothly operated and specific conditions such as water hammers can be addressed with adapted operation profiles. This is implemented by a special frequency converter which caters for insensitivity to voltage and frequency variations and reduces the starting current.
At the SPS, AUMA showcases the SEVEN actuator with Profinet interface for easy integration into Industrial Ethernet.
The robust design of the SEVEN actuators makes them extremely resistant to environmental impacts (standard corrosivity category C5, IP67, double sealed enclosure protection is also ensured during commissioning) and can be further enhanced as an option. Due to the housing design and its materials, a high corrosion resistance and thus an utmost resilience against environment impacts are inherent in the SEVEN actuator. Standard enclosure protection IP67 as well as double sealed electrical connections ensure that the inside of the housing is protected against wind and harsh weather even when disconnecting or establishing the electric wiring. Additional measures will increase enclosure protection and corrosion protection even further.
The SEVEN actuator is available in three equipment variants: ECOTRON, PROFITRON and HiMod.
