Success within the SPS family is always a reason to celebrate. The SPS - Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2025, which took place from 25 – 27 February 2025 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, recorded a high number of visitors and international participation. With over 555 exhibitors and 39,127 trade visitors from 82 countries, the fair provided a platform for the exchange of intelligent automation technologies and solutions for manufacturing.

With an exhibition area of 31,500 sqm, the event offered a comprehensive platform for the exchange and further development of the industry. There were about 1,000 international participants among the more than 39,000 visitors.

The three-day show included leading automation companies showcasing breakthrough developments in areas such as sensor technology, drive systems and motion control. Key players included companies such as Autonics, Binder, Bonfiglioli, CODESYS, Controlway, Crouzet, Datalogic, DEGSON, DINKLE, GSK, HIKVISION, HUALONG XUNDA, ifm, INVT, Jaten Robot, Li-Gong, MatriBox, SERVOTRONIX, SICK, SIEMENS, SUPU, TURCK, Wanjie, WATTSAN and Zhongda Leader.

The exhibition was supported by a diverse program of accompanying events, including over 100 talks and presentations covering key developments in sustainability, digital transformation and artificial intelligence in manufacturing. These informational offerings fostered substantive dialog between industry experts and attendees and facilitated technical collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Partnerships with the World Manufacturing Foundation (WMF) and the Innovative Industry Fair for E x E Solutions (IIFES) brought an expanded international dimension to the show through two specialized forums: “The Future of Manufacturing: Outlook 2030” and “Manufacturing Meets the Future in Japan”. At these forums, global manufacturing experts such as Prof. Dr. David Romero, Scientific Vice Chairman of the World Manufacturing Foundation, and Ms. Shuran Yamaguchi, General Manager of Global Marketing Communications at IDEC Corporation, offered insights and perspectives on global developments in manufacturing.
