Z-TWS4-RT | IEC 61131 IIoT Edge Controller, Straton IDE, VPN router, built-in I/Os
Z-TWS4-RT is a high-performance multifunction controller that combines PLC functionality with data logging, routing, and remote access via an external modem. It is in fact based on StratON IEC 61131-3 softPLC. Equipped with 2 Fast Ethernet ports (which can be managed in LAN/WAN modes), 3 serial ports, and 1 USB host 2.0 port, Z-TWS4-RT supports ModBUS TCP Server, ModBUS RTU Master/Slave, FTP/SFTP Server, HTTP/HTTPS Server, OpenVPN, SSL, as well as IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, HTTP post) and optional Energy Management protocols (IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104, IEC 61850).
The controller has 6 configurable general-purpose digital channels and 2 analog inputs. The device is configurable via Z-NET4 environment, and web server, and programmable in IEC 61131-3 environment. It also makes use of 4 GB Flash memory, 512 MB RAM, and a Micro SD slot up to 32 GB. Integrated into the LET'S telecare and remote control platform, Z-TWS4-RT can support Point-To-Point-Telecontrol or Single LAN Telecontrol connections. The device complies with the most stringent cybersecurity standards starting from compliance to penetration test conducted according to OWASP, NIST 800-115, Risk Analysis, and IEC 62443.

Z-KEY | 2-port Profinet IO <-> ModBUS RTU/ASCII/TCP-IP gateway & protocol converter
Z-KEY Profinet is an advanced gateway that facilitates two-way communication between Profinet IO and ModBUS RTU/ASCII/TCP-IP industrial networks. The device has two serial ports and one 100 BaseT Ethernet port.
With its ability to autonomously read ModBUS device registers via serial bus or Ethernet, Z-KEY makes this data accessible to a Profinet IO controller. In the ModBUS context, it acts as a master device with a dedicated memory space of 1200 bytes READ and 1200 bytes WRITE to define commands. This allows a smooth and flexible transition between the two standards and the control of a sub-network with 128 nodes.
Configuration and diagnostics are simplified thanks to the integrated web server, dedicated software suite, Excel templates for managing and exporting variables, Simatic TiA Portal environment (in the case of integration with Siemens PLCs), and other PLCs. This variety of options offers a versatile approach to adapt to the application's specific needs, enabling smooth integration and efficient system management.

Z-LTE | 4G LTE WW Datalogger with GPS, built-in and expandable I/Os, logic functions, remote control, and alarm management
Z-LTE is the new top-of-the-range SENECA datalogger that allows answering the growing requirements of data acquisition, analysis in real-time, and integration with IT systems existing in automation and system/process monitoring. In line with the new productivity and communication models of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things, it is characterized by a 4G LTE World-Wide high-performance modem, GPS receiver, 4 integrated communication ports (1 Ethernet, 1 RS232/RS485, 1 RS485, 1 MicroUSB), 8 integrated I/O channels (4DI/meters/totalizers, 2AI, 2DO), further improved power supply range, voice alarms/audio controls with DTMF tones and the support of Ftp, Smtp, Smtps, HTTP rest, HTTPS, ModBUS RTU, ModBUS TCP-IP and SMS communication protocols.
Configurable as the Master unit of the SENECA Z-PC series I/O distributed system, Z-LTE offers maximum opening towards the outside and third parties (PLC, HMI) thanks to the technology standards it complies with. This unit supports different types of SIM cards and has an 8MB Flash memory, a slot for microSD expandable up to 32GB, and a multi-tasking real-time operating system. Like all SENECA advanced dataloggers, Z-LTE is fitted also with a built-in UPS that allows an operating autonomy of up to 1 hour in case of lack of primary power supply. This unit guarantees open and flexible programming, thanks to a dedicated environment for the development of control logic (SeAL), an integrated Web Server, a mobile app SENECA SMS (iOS/Android) for the direct management of controls via SMS and a data import/display tool (Log Factory). Z-LTE, Z-GPRS3 and Z-LOGGER3 can be integrated with SCADA, Cloud, databases, and third-party web portals already available in the systems or at the final users.

R-PASS | IIoT Edge Gateway with built-in I/Os, 4 Eth ports, WiFi, datalogger, remote control functions, and VPN
R-PASS is a compact, state-of-the-art EDGE IIoT gateway with an incredibly slim profile of only 32 mm. Inside, this device houses a powerful ARM microprocessor and offers a wide range of advanced features. R-PASS includes 4 Ethernet ports (including 1 WAN), 10 I/O channels, 2 serial ports, and an integrated WiFi module in the -W version. This versatile device performs various functions as a router, data logger, alarm management system, Wi-Fi router, and logic function executor. With VPN support, it performs stand-alone remote maintenance and remote control functions.
R-PASS is ideal for implementing client/server connectivity solutions, allowing the creation of systems with different levels of complexity and multiple simultaneous access points to the plant or individual machines. In addition, it is expandable via the R-COMM module to achieve 4G LTE connectivity. Integrated into the LET'S platform, R-PASS supports Point-To-Point connections for Remote Assistance or Single LAN configurations for Remote Control.
Through the use of IIoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP POST, and OPC-UA, R-PASS integrates seamlessly with data analysis, supervision, business management, ERP, and MES systems, making it the ideal solution for digitizing and interconnecting industrial solutions in the context of Industry 4.0.
R-PASS features a widget-based data visualization interface, which facilitates alarm management, command sending, and graph display via an HTML5 web browser. The complete configuration of the device is done through a web server, thus eliminating the need for expensive development environments.
