The »PQ-Box Family« consists of powerful, portable network and power quality analyzers, power measurement devices and transient recorders.

During their development, user-friendliness and practical considerations were the key concern. To quickly locate the cause of network errors, the devices are fitted with a wide range of trigger options.

All mobile power quality devices fulfil the high demands of IP65 and can also be installed and used outside. They also have a large operating temperature range of – 20°C to + 60°C.

And they fulfil every requirement of the measurement devices standards IEC61000-4-30 Ed.3, IEC62586-1 and IEC62586-2 Ed.2 for class A devices.

A reliable overview of supply quality and grid faults - Fully Automatic at Every Voltage Level

The built-in fault recorders and power quality devices PQI-DA smart, PQI-DE and PQI-D are the central components in systems handling all measurement tasks in low, medium and high-voltage networks. The analyzers can function as fault recorders with a scanning rate of up to 41 kHz, as power quality measurement devices to EN 50160 / IEC 61000-2-2/-4 or as power quality analyzers.

The power quality analyzers are ideal for monitoring specific quality standards and agreements between energy suppliers and customers. They also support the monitoring of new technologies such as photovoltaics, e-mobility, battery storage and heat pumps and offer reliable grid monitoring in the low-voltage range, including industrial applications.

All power quality analyzers from A. Eberle are characterized by the highest measurement accuracy of class A according to IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 3. The standard specifies power quality parameters, measurement methods, time aggregation, accuracy and evaluation, thus guaranteeing reliable, reproducible and comparable measurement results.

Low Voltage Regulation - A Building Block of the Future

The »LVRSys® – Low-Voltage Regulation System« was developed to solve voltage stability problems in the low-voltage grid due to the integration of electromobility, photovoltaics and heat pumps in the low-voltage grid. It represents an economical and flexible alternative to costly and time-consuming line extensions.

The voltage stability problems could be local (individual lines) or affect the entire low-voltage grid. LVRSys® can be used flexibly as a line regulator or regulate directly at the local transformer station (or secondary substation).

The »PQI-LV« is a cost-effective class A power quality analyser in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 3 and has been specially developed for low-voltage monitoring. It is characterised by its compact design, high-quality measurement technology and simple installation thanks to sensor technologies such as Rogowski coils and current sensors. This is ideal for monitoring new consumer and generator technologies (PV, e-mobility, battery storage, heat pumps) and grid monitoring in industrial applications (supraharmonics up to 20 kHz). In combination with »I-Sense«, it enables more efficient grid utilisation and controllability in compact and local secondary substations. The grid analyser meets current IT security requirements and can be easily integrated into many applications thanks to standardised interfaces and web server technology.

The »EOR-1DS« is a compact device at an economical price that combines earth fault and short-circuit indication. It can be used as non-directionals earth fault and short-circuit indicator (pulse locating) with the supplied Rogowski SR55 phase current sensors or as a directional earth fault and short-circuit indicator (pulse locating + qu2 transient algorithm) with current and voltage measurement. With modern low power sensors, highly accurate measurements can be carried out and transmitted via Modbus RTU. The device is particularly important in times of energy transition to create grid transparency and to cope with changing conditions in power grids.
