The InterOpera project aims to achieve a standardised implementation of the asset administration shell in practice. This will create semantic interoperability, which will enable more flexible production and resource efficiency in companies, among other things. In automation today, software sometimes demands special requirements on hardware: whether on the devices themselves or for use in cloud services, process control should directly understand properties of hardware. In a combination of the IDTA AAS and ECLASS, standardized properties of hardware are shown within the InterOpera project.
