Multifunctional Energy Analyzer – UMG 806 and UMG 806-LP
Fine-grained energy monitoring is the key to precisely monitoring and controlling energy flows at all levels. This is the only way to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The UMG 806 energy measurement device offers you optimum flexibility and adaptability thanks to its two available variants: the UMG 806-LP and the UMG 806.
The UMG 806-LP offers measuring inputs for the connection of low-power converters. These converters are characterized by a very low secondary-side voltage output. Due to the low signal on the converter cable, the secondary side of the converter does not have to be short-circuited in open operation. This increases safety during installation and simplifies the installation process considerably. In addition, low-power converters offer price advantages over many conventional converter models in terms of consumption, making them a cost-effective alternative.
The UMG 806 is ideal for situations where conventional converters are already installed in the system. It can be seamlessly integrated into existing measurement infrastructures.
Apart from the measuring inputs, both devices are identical in their functions and specifications.

Monitoring of residual currents, type A to B+ – RCM 202-AB
The two-channel residual current monitoring device meets the requirements of the DIN EN 62020 standard. A recurring insulation test can be omitted or at least limited. Typical applications are low-voltage main distribution boards (LVMDB) and subdistribution panels (SDP) in grounded systems (e.g. TN-S systems). The RCM 202-AB is a technical alternative usable across all industries when power interruptions due to a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) or insulation resistance measurement cannot be tolerated. Complete integration into the GridVis® Power Grid Monitoring software is possible. The device can be integrated directly via the RS-485 interface. It can be used as an RCM at any point, e.g. in direct current systems, for frequency converters, or in applications with increased fire protection requirements. The RCM 202-AB allows type B/type B+ monitoring with common passive residual current transformers. Type B measurement is also possible with separable transformers, making it an ideal solution for existing systems.

Modular Expandable Power Analyzer - UMG 96-PQ-L-LP
From power quality analysis to energy monitoring, from residual current to temperature monitoring, the UMG 96-PQ-L-LP offers the right functions for every application. Avoid system failures by clearly displaying the entire power quality of a measurement level at low cost with the UMG 96-PQ-L-LP.
Short of space in the switchboard cabinet? Thanks to the low-power current inputs, classic current transformers can be replaced with smaller and less expensive current transformers. Since low-power transformers operate in the millivolt range on the secondary side, no converter disconnect terminal is required.
Passive Rogowski coils can also be used for simple retrofit solutions. In this case, the measurement device serves as the measurement transducer, saving money and essential space in the switchboard cabinet.
The UMG 96-PQ-L-LP modular network analyzer can measure full-wave events and present and analyze them directly in the network display. It also comes with a large memory, which, thanks to a special data compression method, ensures several years’ worth of storage. Memory partitioning preserves the long storage time for current, power and work even in combination with high-resolution power quality measurement.

Modulary Expandable Power Analyzer – UMG 801
A key success factor for modern companies is transparency across all data levels. Data from all company divisions must be acquired and consolidated in order to optimize planning for production processes, establish safety measures to protect systems and machines, and save costs, for example. This objective entails a number of challenges, because different standards, interfaces and communication options must be coordinated with each other. Networking areas that were previously examined separately, from the machine level to ERP systems and building management systems is very complex. OPC UA is a data transmission standardization that simplifies this consolidation.
The Janitza UMG 801 energy measurement device offers various communication interfaces and enables direct data transmission to higher-level systems via OPC UA, eliminating the need for costly integration.
The modularly expandable UMG 801 is ideally suited for the complete acquisition of an energy management system (e.g. ISO 50001). You gain transparency about energy consumption and energy costs at all measurement levels. In addition, critical deviations in power quality as well as residual currents (RCM), which load or even systems at risk, can be detected.
Future-proof investment: the measuring points can be subsequently extended to up to 92 measurement channels thanks to easily integrated current measuring modules.
