ROBA®-drive-checker - the measuring machine element
The torque-measuring shaft coupling ROBA®-drive-checker is a new component in the proven modular system of our backlash-free disk pack coupling ROBA®-DS. The core elements of the ROBA®-drive-checker are the multi-gateway and the sleeve. The multi-gateway ensures robust, reliable data transmission - as receiver and transmitter. The sleeve between two offset-compensating ROBA-DS disk packs records the torque with proven strain gauge technology. The system enables simple condition monitoring of machines and systems as well as calibration in the installed condition. With the data from the coupling, machines can be ideally integrated into smart production environments, the drive train becomes fit for Industry 4.0 at low cost. The user retains complete sovereignty over his data, external cloud systems or third-party software are not necessary. The ROBA-drive-checker is a 100% mayr® development - we supply the complete package from a single source.
