Cantoni motors are recognized globally as safe, reliable and durable, operating in the harshest conditions.

We offer a wide range of Explosion Proof motors:

1) IE3 increased safety motors - from 0,06 kW up to 22 kW - adapted for operation in areas endangered by explosion (without methane), attested for VSD;

2) flame-proof motors:
- for chemical industry (IE3)
- for mining industry
from 0,37 kW up to 3200 kW - for applications in chemical and mining industry where explosive atmosphere of gases, vapours or dust can occur;

3) non-sparking IEC motors and Class I Div 2 NEMA motors

4) dust ignition proof IEC motors and Class II Div 2 NEMA motors


We also offer Explosion Proof brakes, like e.g.:

1) HEX DC electromagnetic brakes, which provide protection against methane and coal dust explosion (M2), gas explosion (2G) and dust explosion (2D);

Cantoni Motor offers the whole range of electric motors, including single phase motors starting from the frame size 56 and output power 0,04 kW.

Cantoni Motor produces 1-phase motors in three main executions:

• standard starting toruque (with run capacitor);
• increased starting torque (with run capacitor and specially adjusted parameters);
• high starting torque (with run capacitor, start capacitor and centrifugal switch).

We produce also special 1-phase motors like:

• motors for axial fans;
• motors for woodworking machines;
• motors adapted to voltage speed control.

Our 1-phase motors can be offered also in efficinecy class IE3. Such motors are designated as 3SSIE.

Our motors meet the requirements of international rules IEC 60034-1.

Our general purpose motors are designed and produced not only to respect the energy efficiency regulation, but to provide a complete set of features to generate the maximum benefit to the customer: low vibration and noise level, durability, easy maintenance and long bearing life.
All our factories work to build a durable product. Our motors work for many years with very low level of maintenance services, at the same time generating additional savings.

- single phase induction squirrel cage motors: from 0,04 kW up to 2,2 kW

Do you know that Cantoni Motor offers not only electric motors?

In our production program you can also find a wide range of AC/DC electromagnetic disc brakes (from 4 Nm up to 5000 Nm), powder brakes (from 3 Nm up to 170 Nm) or electrohydraulic releases.

Brakes can be manufactured in variants suitable for various direct-current voltages: 24V, 104V, 180V, 207V which allows them to be supplied from standard alternating current sources, through appropriate rectifier.

In Cantoni Motor offer you can find:

1) Electromagnetic brakes:

- with constant braking torque

- with regulating braking torque

- theatrical version (characterized by quiet operation)

- with a high level of protection (NE series)

- in explosion-proof executions (HEX series, NEX series) for Zone 2, Zone 21, 2D, 2G, 3G, M2.

2) Electrohydraulic releases - are used in the equipment requiring a rope drive, which should have an appropriate force and stroke (brakes, covers, valves).

Their main task is to disengage (open) expansion and disc brakes and also induce the braking moment. Releases are offered in standard and explosion-proof execution.

3) Powder brakes and powder clutches, which have a construction that enables a fluent torque moment adjustment.

4) Three-phase and single-phase brake motors with AC/DC brakes in the range from 0,04 kW up to 200kW.
