The SPS 2023 lecture program

Whether it's an innovative product presentation or an inspiring technical lecture – the SPS 2023 lecture program brings together high profile speakers across a wide variety of channels, providing additional opportunities for exchange – also across physical borders.

What to expect at the SPS 2023

The SPS 2023 will once again feature a first-class lecture program – both on-site and online. Technical lectures and panel discussions will not only be hosted at the Technology Stage powered by VDMA/ZVEI in Hall 3, but also broadcasted live via the accompanying digital platform "SPS on air". Furthermore, innovative products will be presented at the two forums in Hall 6 and 8. Speakers from all three trade fair forums will be available for personal exchange after their presentations in designated "Meet the speaker" areas in the immediate vicinity of each forum.

The digital Pre-Heat Event

On 8 November 2023, ticket holders will have the opportunity to attend the digital Pre-Heat Event. This event is an exclusive opportunity to learn about product innovations and gain insights on current industry topics even before the trade fair begins. Among others, the exhibiting companies Bihl+Wiedemann GmbH, Bonfiglioli SPA, HEITEC AG, U. I. Lapp GmbH and Weidmüller Interface GmbH & Co. KG will be speaking at the event.

The SPS 2022 lecture program

The lecture program of the SPS 2022 included 120 forum contributions on topics of importance for the automation industry, including sustainability in automation, safety and security as well as new logistic methods and robotic integration. In addition to highly qualified panel discussions and focused technical lectures, visitors also had the opportunity to join Dr. Markus Söder, Minister President of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), MdL, at the digital talk. Some of the topics discussed were the future of digitization and the importance of trade fairs for Germany as a business location. The live broadcast on the "SPS on air" platform allowed attendees to follow the talk regardless of location.
