On this page you will find the answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal.
Who is able to use the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal, and how will I be informed about the portal's availability?
The main contact person at your company, who is named in the registration form, is automatically designated as a user. This person is allowed to designate other individuals as authorized users. The portal user receives an e-mail from Mesago indicating the availability of the portal.
Simply go to exhibitortickets.mesago.com and log in using your personal Messe-Login, which consists of your email address and your chosen password. If you are already signed in to the “Shop for Exhibitor Services”, you will automatically remain logged in when you switch to the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal.
If you are logged in via the Messe Frankfurt Customer Centre, you can access the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal directly via the “Invite Visitors” and “Create exhibitor passes” tiles.
Why does the following message appear: “No stand is assigned to your account for this event. Please get in touch with your main contact person.”?
The contact person named in the registration form is automatically registered as a portal user authorized to place orders. All other persons will receive this message until they are designated as representatives by the main contact person.
As the main contact person, you can designate additional persons as representatives in the user management area in the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal. These representatives will have the same rights as you do (they can also personalize exhibitor passes, invite visitors etc…). Additional persons can be designated as representatives in the user management area in this portal. You can access the user management section via the “pencil” icon. This is located next to the stand number on the overview page.
Exhibitor passes are valid throughout the hours of the event and entitle the holder to enter the exhibition grounds two hours before the official opening time of the exhibition. Exhibitor passes are intended solely for use by exhibitors and stand personnel and may not be given to customers.
You can obtain your exhibitor passes solely in the “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal. Here, you have the opportunity to create your personalized exhibitor passes quickly and easily at any and send them by email. Your allocation of free passes is automatically assigned to your stand and is displayed for you in the portal.
Exhibitor passes are only available in personalized form. As the exhibitor, you know which colleagues/employees you will need at your stand. By allowing you to generate your exhibitor passes in our “Ticket Services for Exhibitors” portal, you have the opportunity to customize to your own requirements.
Go to the list of exhibitor passes and click on the pass you wish to edit. This pass will be opened, and you can use the "Edit ticket" function to change the personalization data as required.
Please note that when you change the personalization data, the original ticket becomes invalid and can no longer be used.
If the ticket in question has already been used to enter the event, it will be counted against the allocation of free passes. If the allocation of free passes has already been exhausted, the exhibitor will be invoiced for this pass.
Is it also possible to order exhibitor passes in the form of pkpass files that I can open on my smartphone with the corresponding app (e.g. Wallet)?
Yes, you receive the exhibitor passes in the form of PDF as well as pkpass files. Please note that the exhibitor pass must be printed out when using the VGN KombiTicket.
Exhibitor passes and vouchers will be transferred to the new stand. The PDF vouchers that were generated may have the old stand number. These would have to be regenerated and/or resent.
Free allotments based on stand size will be automatically adjusted to the new stand size if necessary.
What happens to exhibitor passes/ invitations that have already been ordered, if the exhibitor cancels their participation?
Exhibitor passes are blocked and can no longer be used. Invitation codes sent out can still be redeemed.
Your exhibitor pass can be retrieved online at any time via your Messe-Login or, if applicable, via your email account and can also be scanned from your mobile phone.

Option 1: You would like to send the invitations yourself. There are two ways in which you can do this:
- Invitation code: You will receive an email with a download link for an Excel file. The Excel file contains invitation codes in numeric form, as well as invitation codes that are integrated into URLs.
You can include these in your newsletter campaign, for example, or send them to your customers individually.
Invitation codes are very suitable for being sent by post; URLs with integrated invitation codes, on the other hand, work very well for email campaigns.
A maximum of 5000 codes can be downloaded per order process.
- Invitation code in PDF format
You will receive an email containing a download link for your PDF invitations, which you can print out and pass on to your visitors.
A maximum of 50 PDF files can be downloaded per order process.
Option 2: We can do this for you.
Invitation link / invitation link from an Excel template
Your customers receive an email in your name containing an invitation link. They can then go directly to Messe Frankfurt’s “Online Ticketing” system , register, and download their ticket.
If you would like to write to several visitors simultaneously, select the option invitation links from an Excel template. Here you will find an Excel template into which you can enter the email addresses of all the recipients. The Excel template is then uploaded, and all the recipients will be notified automatically.
It is not possible to generate invitations as pkpass files. Once the codes have been registered online in Messe Frankfurt’s “Online Ticketing” system at visitortickets.mesago.com, these invitation codes are converted into valid tickets.
After they have registered their Visitor Voucher / Promotion Pass / VIP Pass, the customers will be sent an email. This email contains the ticket in the form of a PDF file, as well as in the form of a pkpass file.
Are Visitor Vouchers / Promotion Passes / VIP Passes valid for free travel to and from the trade fair with the Nuremberg public transport system (VGN)?
Visitor Vouchers and Promotion Passes registered on the basis of an invitation are not eligible for the VGN.
VIP Passes are valid for the free use of the Nuremberg public transport system within the zones 100/200 provided they have been redeemed for valid tickets by registration and are printed out.
Invitation codes/ Invitation links
I requested invitation codes / invitation links and passed these on to my customers. What should my customers do with them?
Once your customers have received their invitation code / invitation link, they can go to Messe Frankfurt’s “Online Ticketing” system at visitortickets.mesago.com and register their invitation code / invitation link. After this, they can generate their own ticket.
Contact list and usage data
You can access the usage data for a particular ticket list by going to the "Show menu" and selecting the “Used tickets/Used vouchers” filter function. Once you have done this, select the datasets in which you are interested, then use the “Download contacts" function to download this information.
Please note that this function is only available to you during and after the trade fair.
The data displayed here exclusively serves as proof of a correct exchange and do not entitle to a further use or even promotional to customers.
You can access this data directly in the portal. You will receive the usage data in the form of an Excel list. The data will remain available for about three months after the event.
The contact list contains the data entered for each ticket, e.g. personalization data and usage data.
Invoicing and allocations of free passes
Exhibitor passes are invoiced after the end of the event. Only those tickets that have actually been used on-site will be invoiced. Visitor Vouchers, Promotion Passes and VIP Passes will not be invoiced.
The invoice will be sent to the email address provided in the registration. If no e-mail address has been entered, the invoice will be sent by post.
The invoice will be addressed to the contracting party.
As an exhibitor, you are automatically assigned an allocation of free exhibitor passes.
As a rule, the allocations of free passes are based on the size of your stand.
These are automatically taken into account for the invoicing process by deducting the allocation of free passes from the number of tickets/passes used.
Yes, the allocation of free passes is adjusted automatically. In the event that the stand is expanded, the allocation of free passes is increased – if the stand is made smaller, the allocation of free passes is reduced.
There is no need to cancel any orders, as only those tickets that are actually used to enter the event will be invoiced. It is possible to block tickets within the ticket management section. Once this has been done, the tickets can no longer be used.
